Terms of Service

Core City designs and builds websites and provides Saystage — a managed subscription that includes hosting, security, ongoing care, and a workspace for requesting and publishing updates in plain English. An initial website rebuild, when included, is scoped and quoted separately in a written proposal.

Saystage is a recurring subscription billed in advance, currently $249 per month, through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and your payment method is charged the then-current rate until you cancel. We will give reasonable notice before any change to your recurring price.

You can cancel anytime from your account billing portal or by emailing hello@corecity.dev. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then. Monthly subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, and one-time buildout or setup fees are governed by your project proposal. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

On full payment, the final website design and content we deliver for you are yours. Core City retains ownership of its pre-existing and reusable materials — including the Client Studio platform, underlying code, frameworks, components, and tooling — which we license to you for use with your site while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of content you provide to us.

You agree to use our services lawfully and not to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems, or misuse Client Studio. You are responsible for the accuracy of content you submit for publication.

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep your site current, secure, and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific results, including search rankings or traffic.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Core City will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the services and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or violation of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Client Studio platform ends, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide you a copy of your site content on request.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. Questions: hello@corecity.dev.
